Young Katsuhiko Jinnai reading his favourite magazine. I haven't seen this particular magazine ("Kyappuchin") in any of the Japanese stores, so I'm curious as to whether or not it's real. Screen capture of flashback from El Hazard: Wanderers episode 20 LD. 629x473 pixels, 44.4KB, JPG.

Captures from various episodes of Tenchi Muyo! and Pretty Sammy. The older captures are so-so because of the cheap hardware I was using at the time. The newer ones are done with an up-market A/V card and are pretty decent.

To start off, a Ryoko eyecatch that most Tenchi Muyo! fans probably haven't seen. This is from the promotional mini-laserdisc for the Tenchi TV series. The five images are all 608x472 pixels and are around 16-17KB each. There are several different versions of this eyecatch on the disc, the common parts being Ryo-Ohki jumping for the carrot, the background, and the revolving sign that alternately shows a countdown and Tenchi's face. Each version has a different character (Ryoko, Aeka, Sasami, Washu, Kiyone, or Mihoshi) holding the sign and going through 3 poses.

Who is Zero?

She's a robot who appears in episodes 11 and 12 of the Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki OAV series. Her mission: kidnap Washu. Her plan: first kidnap Ryoko (an easier target), steal her appearance and memories, then infiltrate the house and capture Washu when an opportunity presents itself.

	Zero about to pounce on Washu in a vulnerable moment when she's just said goodbye to Tenchi. 	The fatal flaw in Zero's plan was the overwhelming power of Ryoko's feelings for Tenchi, which hit Zero like the proverbial freight train whenever Tenchi spoke to her. Ryoko appears in the Pretty Sammy OAV series as the rough-and-tumble schoolgirl, Ryoko Orikasa. She doesn't have the amazing powers of the real Ryoko, but she's still more fun than Tenchi can handle.
