[IMAGE] NEW Chapter 51 (Volume 9 part 1): Ryoko wakes up screaming and brings the house down. Mihoshi, of course, sleeps through the whole thing.

[IMAGE] NEW Chapter 53 (Volume 9 part 3): The best thing about this volume, for my money, is Aeka's behaviour. No, sorry to disappoint you, she doesn't jump up and down with glee at Ryoko's departure, she's actually as upset as any of them. Although she begins the volume in bad form by whacking Ryoko with one of those paper fan-like things for disturbing her, she quickly recognises that something's very much amiss and from that point on, right to the end of the volume, she's very sympathetic towards her supposed nemesis. 686x377 pixels, 35.9 KB, JPG.

[IMAGE] NEW Chapter 55 (Volume 9 part 5): When everything else - even Tenchi's light hawk wings, which he can now create at will - proves inadequate, Tenchi and Ryoko combine their powers and boost the Wings to unprecedented levels. Confirmation of OAV 13's comments regarding the nature of Ryoko's power, and one more indication that there's more than just a love interest between Ryoko and Tenchi. 705x1052 pixels, 100.6 KB, JPG.

[IMAGE] NEW Chapter 56 (Volume 9 part 6): Okay, okay, last scan from this volume, just to hammer the point home. The captions read "I knew it - Tenchi has become my first love!"
